Hyundai Achieves Record-Breaking November Sales in the US, Delivering a Total of 76,008 Vehicles to Customers
Notably, the Hyundai Sonata was the best-selling model in November, with sales of 6,971 units, a 200% increase compared to the same period last year.
In the electric vehicle segment, the Ioniq 5 stood out with sales of 4,989 units in November, double that of the previous year. This was the model’s best-performing month in the US since its launch.
Alongside gas-powered cars, the hybrid and plug-in hybrid segments also performed impressively. The Santa Fe HEV, Tucson HEV, and Tucson PHEV all recorded outstanding November sales, outperforming other months.
Hyundai’s sales growth is partly attributed to the diversification of its electric vehicle lineup in the US market. However, it’s worth noting that the best-selling models for the brand over the past 11 months remain gas-powered vehicles. Specifically, the Hyundai Tucson (185,954 units), Elantra (125,113 units), and Santa Fe (105,701 units) have been the top-selling gas-powered models.
In 2025, Hyundai plans to introduce the Ioniq 9, a three-row electric SUV. This model will feature a massive 110.3 kWh battery pack, maximizing the vehicle’s range.
