Celebrating the Legacy of F1 Legend Lewis Hamilton, HOF Unveils the Sir Class SUV Based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63

Lewis Hamilton, the outstanding F1 driver for Mercedes-AMG Petronas, will be leaving the team after the 2024 season. To honor the achievements of the seven-time world champion, HOF – a renowned German car tuning company, has unveiled the “Sir Class” based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV.

While retaining the original’s 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, the Sir Class has been comprehensively overhauled by HOF engineers with stronger connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, new turbochargers, an aluminum intake manifold, and special software. The result is an astonishing 1,063 horsepower and 1,300 Nm of torque, far surpassing the stock figures of 577 hp and 850 Nm.

According to the German tuner, the Sir Class can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 299 km/h, making it the fastest G 63 ever.

The SUV boasts a stunning appearance with an “ombre” paint effect, transitioning from silver at the front to black towards the rear. It is complemented by a carbon fiber body kit, including new wheel arches, side skirts, and front/rear bumpers. The vehicle also features special 23-inch wheels with a green pinstripe, a tribute to the Petronas team’s signature color.

The SUV’s suspension has been retuned, lowering the ride height by about 3 cm compared to the standard G 63, enhancing handling and aerodynamics. Additionally, high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes have been fitted for improved stopping power.

Echoing the exterior, the Sir Class’ cabin is predominantly black, accented with hints of green. The F1-style rectangular steering wheel is wrapped in carbon fiber and Alcantara. The headrests of the front seats feature a hand-stitched “1,063” logo, emphasizing the SUV’s extraordinary power.

The Sir Class also boasts a starry sky lighting system on the ceiling, inspired by the luxurious Rolls-Royce models. Only 11 units of the Sir Class will be produced, each starting at a price of $690,000.
