Zeekr, a premium brand under the Geely Group, was established in 2021. The brand’s lineup includes six vehicles. Recently, the luxury electric vehicle (EV) brand, Zeekr, produced its 400,000th EV, just 37 months after the first car rolled off the production line. The Zeekr Mix, a minivan with a record-breaking 93% cabin space utilization rate, became the 400,000th vehicle.

From January to November 2024, Zeekr delivered 194,933 vehicles, an increase of 85% compared to the same period last year. To maintain high sales volume, Zeekr operates three manufacturing plants across China. These include the Zeekr factory in Hangzhou Bay, the Geely factory in Chengdu, and the Geely factory in Chunxiao.

The Chinese automotive brand Zeekr, which has recently entered the Vietnamese market, has received some good news.

Zeekr’s 400,000th vehicle was the Mix minivan. This vehicle rolled off the production line at the Geely Chunxiao factory. This production base was built in 2014 and has an annual output of 200,000 units. In addition to the Zeekr Mix, this factory assembles Geely-branded models such as the Borui sedan and the Geely Atlas (Boyue) crossover, among others.

The Zeekr Mix is the first pure electric model to be produced at the Chunxiao factory. According to Geely representatives, the factory underwent serious renovations before starting production of the new model. The technical transformation process included the construction of two workshops, expansion of the welding and stamping workshop, and the addition of several production equipment. The annual production plan for the Zeekr Mix is 100,000 units, which accounts for half of the factory’s capacity.

Turning back to Zeekr, the brand’s first vehicle rolled off the production line on October 19, 2021. It was the Zeekr 001, an electric car. Zeekr took 1,145 days to produce 400,000 vehicles, which is approximately 37 months.

The Zeekr Mix is a stylish minivan with a world-leading 93% cabin space utilization rate. Its most unique feature is its three sliding doors. Thanks to these doors, the Zeekr Mix boasts a wide 1,480 mm entrance. Inside, the Zeekr Mix offers five seats. The cabin height is an impressive 1,350 mm, while the floor height is a mere 390 mm.

The vehicle’s dimensions include a length, width, and height of 4,668/1,995/1,775 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. The front wheels can turn more than 50 degrees, resulting in a turning radius of 4.95 meters.

A single rear-axle electric motor powers the Zeekr Mix, delivering an output of 310 kW (415 hp). This compact family car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Thanks to its LFP 76 kWh battery, the base Zeekr Mix has a range of 550 km. The larger NMC three-component battery provides a capacity of 102 kWh and a range of 700 km.

The Zeekr Mix is not a budget-friendly option. Its price ranges from 279,800 to 299,900 Chinese yuan (approximately $38,500 to $41,200).
