Ferrari is celebrating 30 years in the Middle East, and to mark the occasion, they have unveiled six special 296 GTBs at an event in Abu Dhabi, one for each of the six Gulf countries.

While we suspect some local buyers would have liked to see Ferrari launch a special edition of the faster and more powerful SF90 Stradale, the Italian brand quietly discontinued that model a few months ago, meaning the SF90 Spider and 296 GTB/GTS are their only mid-engined supercars, aside from the new flagship hybrid, the F80.

The new special 296 GTBs unveiled in the UAE all feature the Arabian Golden Sheen (also known as copper) finish, which contrasts beautifully with a variety of different body colors. Perhaps the most striking of these is the one in Metallic Green, created for Saudi Arabia.

The UAE’s own 296 GTB is finished in Pearlescent White, and like the others, it sports a set of gold wheels and a unique inscription on the engine cover.

The Metallic Blue 296 GTB is destined for Oman, while Qatar will receive the one painted in a deep brown hue. The unique Metallic Black car is reserved for Bahrain, and the golden-brown car was crafted for Kuwait.

The interiors of these cars have been customized, too. All feature a Beige Honolulu leather-upholstered cabin with Gold Metallic leather accents, diamond-stitched seats, and a Prancing Horse logo embroidered in gold thread on the headrests. Adding to the luxurious feel is a leather-lined front luggage compartment.

Ferrari has not yet disclosed whether these special cars will be sold to private customers or if they will be taken over by Ferrari dealers in the Middle East.
