The current fifth-generation Toyota RAV4 has been on the market since 2019, and it’s now due for an upgrade.

Recently, TopElectricSUV released design sketches of the 2026 Toyota RAV4, giving users a better idea of what to expect from the new model.

According to the sketches, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is expected to feature a bold and rugged exterior design, taking inspiration from the Tacoma, 4Runner, and Land Cruiser.

The front of the vehicle is characterized by a large and robust bumper, complemented by an off-road-inspired grille and headlight configuration.

While it’s unclear how the cabin of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 will be updated, it’s likely to follow the layout of recently launched Toyota models. The interior will feature a large central screen, a digital instrument cluster, and an array of physical buttons.

The new Toyota RAV4 is expected to be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with an electric motor.

Additionally, there may be a RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid option, pairing the 2.5L four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to produce a combined output of 302 horsepower.

The sixth-generation Toyota RAV4 is anticipated to hit the market in early 2026.
