Earlier this year, the first McLaren 720S Spider in Vietnam to receive the DarwinPro treatment caught the attention of car enthusiasts nationwide. This rare and exquisite modification is a testament to the owner’s passion for automotive excellence.

At the time, many admired the McLaren 720S Spider’s transformation into a track-only McLaren Senna GTR-inspired supercar. While there was already one such vehicle in Vietnam, it has since left the country. A small suggestion for the owner of this newly modified beauty would be to acquire a premium license plate to match its enhanced aesthetics.

After investing billions of dong into the DarwinPro Senna GTR body kit, the owner of this McLaren 720S Spider from Nghe An province spared no expense, spending an additional 300 million dong to acquire the premium license plate 37K-333.39 at auction. This unique plate features a quadruple three, along with the number 39, a small fortune symbol, creating a visually appealing combination.

This McLaren 720S Spider, now residing in Nghe An for almost four months, boasts a striking yellow and black color scheme, with numerous carbon fiber accents from the prestigious DarwinPro modification.

The highlight of this modification is the massive rear wing, reminiscent of the track-only McLaren Senna GTR, of which only 75 exist globally. This wing, fixed to both sides of the rear haunches, stands out from typical aftermarket offerings and is typically seen only on race cars. Crafted from lightweight and strong carbon fiber, it complements rather than obstructs the functionality of the electric rear spoiler. Accompanying this dramatic feature is a new, aggressive rear diffuser.

Beyond the rear wing, the front end of this modified McLaren 720S Spider demands attention with its entirely new bumper, resembling the two-tier design of the McLaren Senna GTR race car. The extended front bumper of this convertible supercar wraps around the sides, accentuated by large side gills, creating a bold statement. Completing the front-end transformation is a new headlight air vent cover.

The DarwinPro treatment continues with a carbon fiber hood scoop, reminiscent of the race car, adding a touch of aggression. Vented fenders further contribute to the car’s performance-oriented aesthetic. And, of course, the massive rear wing completes the dramatic transformation of this McLaren 720S Spider DarwinPro edition.

It is unclear if this McLaren 720S Spider has received any performance upgrades or an aftermarket exhaust system. In its original form, the McLaren 720S Spider is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 710 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Power is delivered through a 7-speed automatic transmission, propelling the supercar from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 341 km/h.
