The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is an iconic luxury SUV known for its formidable off-road capabilities, with a design that has remained largely unchanged for decades. The latest generation, now electric or gas-powered and rebranded as the Mercedes-AMG G63, still boasts a distinctive look, but one affluent car enthusiast from Hanoi took it a step further.

He acquired the ultimate Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6, a top-tier version priced over $1 million overseas, putting it on par with hypercars. This rare beast has recently been spotted on the streets of Hanoi after more than two years of absence, having undergone re-registration in Laos to comply with Vietnamese regulations.

The new black matte wrap on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 has drawn admiration from many, offering a bolder and more distinctive look compared to its original yellow paint job. The owner’s choice of a black matte finish for the body and the dark-tinted windows perfectly complements the vehicle’s original dark-colored wheels, making this one of the very few “Batman” editions of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 in the world.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 in its original color scheme

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 was produced in limited numbers from 2013 to 2015, with only 100 units manufactured to satisfy the demands of wealthy enthusiasts, particularly in the Middle East. Its rarity and appeal have caused its resale value to skyrocket, with original prices of $511,000 (approximately 11.8 billion VND) now soaring past the $1 million mark.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 packs a 5.5-liter V8 gasoline engine that delivers 544 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. Coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission, this “six-wheel monster” can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 161 km/h.
