According to Carscoops, a Ferrari 12Cilindri was involved in a severe accident while on the move in Luxembourg.

While there has been no official report on the cause of the accident, photos shared by Supercar.fails suggest that wet roads due to flooding may have caused the Italian supercar to skid and crash into a rock wall.

The accident occurred during a media test drive event organized by Ferrari themselves. The car, with the license plate GT950AH, was one of six 12Cilindri models provided by the Italian manufacturer for this program.

Observing the accident scene, it appears that the passenger-side rear quarter panel of the Ferrari sustained significant denting and scratching due to the impact with the roadside rock wall. The side mirror is also caked with dirt and likely suffered some damage. It’s hard to determine if the front end of the 12Cilindri was affected, but the front bumper and at least one of the wheels seem to have taken a hit. However, the car remains largely intact structurally and mechanically, so restoration to its original condition is not expected to be overly challenging. There is no information currently available regarding any injuries to the driver and passenger.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri is the successor to the 812 Superfast in the brand’s lineup. True to its name, this supercar is equipped with an upgraded version of the 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing a whopping 819 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 678 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This powerplant is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. According to Ferrari, the 12Cilindri can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

With its powerful engine and advanced features, the Ferrari 12Cilindri commands a premium price tag. The coupe version is priced at 395,000 euros (approximately 10.78 billion VND), while the convertible model will set you back 435,000 euros (around 11.87 billion VND).
