“VinFast’s Electric Cars and Motorcycles” was honored in the most important category at the Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Community Action Awards – Human Act Prize 2024.
On the evening of December 14, the Community Action Awards – Human Act Prize 2024 ceremony was held in Hanoi, honoring 31 outstanding projects and ideas that have been and are inspiring contributions to the community.
Especially among the 5 excellent projects honored in the most important category at Human Act Prize 2024, the “VinFast’s Electric Cars and Motorcycles” project was one of the names announced amid loud applause from the live audience.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast, received the award on behalf of the brand.
According to the organizers, in the context of the world joining hands towards the goal of environmental protection and emission reduction, VinFast has taken pioneering steps in producing electric cars in Vietnam.
VinFast’s electric car project is highly appreciated for addressing two challenging issues in Vietnamese transportation: air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. By developing advanced electric car lines with wide accessibility, VinFast has been contributing to changing perceptions and guiding consumers towards using clean energy and environmentally friendly vehicles.
Moreover, the judging panel also valued the VinFast electric car project for its extensive charging station network and reasonably priced models, creating a strong impetus for the rapid development of Vietnam’s electric vehicle market.
“With unwavering efforts, VinFast has gradually affirmed its position on the international stage, bringing ‘Made in Vietnam’ products to global consumers, contributing to the realization of sustainable development goals, and aligning with the trend of greening the global economy,” said the organizing board of Human Act Prize 2024 about VinFast.
Not only did VinFast receive excellent reviews from the judging panel, but the most important Human Act Prize 2024 awarded to VinFast also garnered great consensus from the community. On many forums, numerous members congratulated VinFast for its well-deserved contributions to society.
On a large forum about life perspectives, member Tran Minh Chien acknowledged that the value of VinFast’s electric car models goes beyond a means of transportation and is creating a change in the lives of millions. “We are living in a terrible environmental condition. If we don’t make comprehensive changes, starting with our traveling habits, our children and grandchildren will suffer more severe consequences than we are facing now, hundreds or even thousands of times worse,” said Chien.
In reality, according to him, positive changes are happening in society, especially when the Vietnamese automaker has achieved a market share of number one in Vietnam in just a few short years. The local automaker does not merely offer a green choice but, more importantly, the way VinFast removes the barriers of green transportation for millions of people, from affordable pricing, superior quality compared to vehicles in the same segment, to excellent after-sales policies, and especially, the extensive electric vehicle ecosystem.
