The renowned Vietnamese singer, Mỹ Linh, and her husband, musician Anh Quân, recently shared their excitement about their new car purchase. Linh’s wife shared that it had been 11 years since they bought their first car, and it was time for a new experience. The new companion for the singer’s family is the Volvo XC90, a luxurious and safe SUV.

Mỹ Linh’s Volvo XC90 boasts a sleek Denim Blue exterior. In Vietnam, the base model of the XC90 is priced at 4.05 billion VND, while the top-of-the-line Plug-in Hybrid Ultra version chosen by the musician couple costs up to 4.37 billion VND.

The Volvo XC90 has a sizable footprint, with dimensions of 4,953 x 1,958 x 1,776 mm (length x width x height), and a significant variation in wheelbase length between the two versions. The vehicle’s massive presence is further emphasized by its large 20-inch alloy wheels.

As a luxury vehicle, the Volvo XC90 is equipped with modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable journey for both the driver and passengers. Some notable features include a 9-inch entertainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a vibrant 19-speaker audio system, heated and cooled seats, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, and four-zone automatic climate control, to name a few.

In Vietnam, the Volvo XC90 is offered with two engine options: the B6 AWD mild hybrid and the T8 AWD plug-in hybrid. Both powertrains feature a 2.0L inline-four gasoline engine with turbocharging and supercharging, paired with an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The B6 AWD mild hybrid delivers an impressive 300 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the T8 AWD plug-in hybrid system produces a combined output of 462 horsepower, propelling the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
