There has been recent buzz on social media about Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, Chairman of Trung Nguyen, also known as the “Coffee King” of Vietnam, surprising everyone by purchasing two new Morgan cars at the same time. This news excited not only the online community but also car enthusiasts.

It’s been a while since car enthusiasts witnessed Mr. Vu making a bulk purchase of two cars in one go, which he did in 2023. There were even days when he bought three cars worth nearly 200 billion VND in a single day. The two Morgan cars he acquired to end the year 2024 are the Plus Six and Plus Four.

According to initial information, the Morgan Plus Six offers two roof options: a soft top that can be manually opened or closed and a hardtop. This gives the owner the flexibility to customize the look of their car by choosing between a black hardtop or a red/green soft top, making the car unique and eye-catching.

Apart from the black hardtop that matches the body color, the car also sports red leather on the doors, complementing the red soft top. Mr. Vu’s Morgan Plus Six has been attracting a lot of attention.

The Morgan Plus Six is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine with a turbocharger, producing an impressive 335 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This engine is also found in the BMW Z4 and Toyota Supra sports cars, which have already made their debut in Vietnam.

This British sports car is equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 267 km/h.

Under the hood of Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s Morgan Plus Four is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged BMW engine. The car’s performance figures depend on the transmission choice—a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic. If you prefer a manual transmission, the car will deliver 255 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Opting for the 8-speed automatic transmission from BMW increases the torque by approximately 50 Nm.
