Honda India has just teased the new Honda Amaze. In some markets, the Amaze is also known as the Amaze Brio due to its similar compact dimensions, with the only difference being their body styles. The Amaze is positioned as a smaller sedan compared to the City, while the Brio is a hatchback.
According to Cartoq, the new Amaze is designed based on the City platform. The front end features a bold and edgy design with slim headlights sitting close to the bonnet edge. Peeking out from behind the front bumper is a large honeycomb grille and air intakes. This design also bears a resemblance to the Elevate, which was launched in India last year.
The teaser image only reveals the front end, so the overall design of the 2025 Amaze remains a mystery. Cartoq predicts that the Amaze will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire in this market.

Details about the engine are yet to be revealed. The current Indian model is equipped with a 1.2L petrol engine, producing 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
Previously, the 2024 Amaze was spotted undergoing test drives in the country, camouflaged in wrap. 91Wheels predicts that the compact sedan will feature six airbags and the new Honda Sensing safety suite, similar to the brand’s international lineup.
The new Honda Amaze is expected to be priced between $8,560 and $11,840.
