Nearly a year after acquiring the vintage Porsche 944, “Coffee King” Dang Le Nguyen Vu was recently spotted cruising the streets in his new ride.

This Porsche 944 was purchased by “King” Vu at the beginning of 2024. It is known that there are only a handful of Porsche 944s currently in Vietnam.

The Porsche 944 is a sports car that was offered in both coupe and convertible variants. It was manufactured in Germany from 1982 to 1991.

Vu’s Porsche is the coupe version and sports a silver exterior with pop-up headlights, a feature commonly found on cars from the 80s and 90s. The rear bumper of Vu’s car protrudes, indicating that it was imported from the North American market.

The Porsche 944 retains its original 5-spoke star-shaped silver rims, sized at 16 inches. Like his other cars, this Porsche 944 also bears the UN insignia on its body.

The engine specifications of this Porsche 944 remain unknown. However, depending on the production year, the Porsche 944 was offered with engine options of 2.5L, 2.7L, and 3.0L, delivering power outputs ranging from 143 to 211 horsepower. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission.
