With a network of 150,000 planned charging ports nationwide and a unique franchised charging station model, along with a free charging policy until mid-2027, many VinFast VF 3 owners are boldly embarking on long-distance trips at zero cost.

Charging stations everywhere, “adventure” with VF 3 becomes a trend

“I used to have some concerns about charging stations when I first bought my VF 3, but now I’m completely at ease. VinFast charging stations are popping up everywhere, from supermarkets to parking lots, and even in apartment basements. Driving an electric car like the VF 3 is now so convenient, and the cost is much lower than that of a gasoline car,” shared Hoang Thinh, a VF 3 owner from Ho Chi Minh City, regarding his experience with his new vehicle.

As electric vehicles continue to gain traction in Vietnam, the VinFast VF 3 has received high praise from users since its launch, thanks to its modern style and compact, agile design in crowded city streets. Moreover, this model has gained the trust of users due to its superior convenience in charging infrastructure.

Currently, the V-Green-managed charging station network comprises 150,000 planned charging ports nationwide, spanning major cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as suburban and provincial areas. This extensive network has provided peace of mind to a large number of VF 3 customers.

With a full charge, the VF 3 can travel over 200 km, a distance that many users deem sufficient for various purposes. Not only can it navigate urban areas, but the VinFast VF 3 is also capable of conquering longer routes and even cross-country trips. This has been demonstrated by the journeys of VF 3 communities, notably the Xế Cá»™ng team. Their experiences serve as practical evidence of the VF 3’s performance and the benefits of VinFast’s charging infrastructure.

According to Phung The Trong (Xế Cộng channel), an experienced electric vehicle user, long-distance trips with the VF 3 are likely to become a trend in the near future. He attributes this to the widespread presence of VinFast charging stations, which have reached even mountainous and sparsely populated areas.

Free charging until mid-2027: A win-win for vehicle and station owners

As the number of electric vehicles in Vietnam continues to surge, V-Green is not only expanding its network of planned charging ports but also introducing a franchised charging station model. This model enables private enterprises, such as cafes, restaurants, and parking lot owners, to invest in and install charging stations at their business premises. This initiative not only enhances convenience for electric vehicle owners but also generates economic value for franchise partners.

Huyen Thao, a cafe owner in Dong Nai, shared her plans to install a V-Green charging station to attract more customers to her cafe. She also highlighted the additional income she could earn from the charging station. “Having a charging station means attracting more customers, and I also make an extra 750 VND per kWh of electricity. So, for a full charge, I can earn over 15,000-90,000 VND,” she explained.

Thao particularly emphasized the impact of VinFast’s recently extended free charging program, which now runs until June 30, 2027. She believes that this initiative will encourage more people to purchase and use electric vehicles, benefiting both consumers and business owners like herself. “Near my cafe is a VinFast dealership, and lately, I’ve noticed that out of every five cars in line, three or four are VF 3s. With the increasing number of vehicles, I’ll also get more customers, and many of them could become regulars. It’s a win-win situation for all parties involved,” she shared.

Thao’s prediction is reflected in VinFast’s recent sales figures. In October 2024, the VF 3 alone recorded approximately 5,000 deliveries. Although it wasn’t the first minicar on the market, the VF 3’s combination of quality, warranty policies, brand reputation, and charging infrastructure has made it the top choice for many consumers.
