On December 24, 2024, Hanoi University of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding with VinFast and VinRobotics to enhance scientific research, improve students’ practical knowledge, and boost high-quality human resource training for Vietnam’s high-tech industry.
According to the agreement, VinFast, VinRobotics, and Hanoi University of Technology will collaborate to improve training, research, innovation, and technology product development. Leveraging the strengths of each party, this cooperation will contribute to producing Hanoi University of Technology graduates with strong professional knowledge and practical work skills, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in Vietnam’s high-tech industry, especially in the field of electric vehicles, and promoting a shared vision of green and sustainable development for the period of 2025–2030.
In the field of training, VinFast and Hanoi University of Technology will jointly develop an in-depth engineering program in digital automotive engineering, ensuring alignment with new technology trends. VinFast will also provide full-time internships for Hanoi University of Technology students, offering them opportunities to access the latest automotive production technologies and gain practical experience. Hanoi University of Technology graduates will be supported by VinFast with job referrals and recruitment for suitable positions within the company and its member units.
In research and technology product development, VinFast and Hanoi University of Technology will collaborate to develop products for practical application in VinFast’s production processes. Hanoi University of Technology will become a research partner, providing technology solutions for the development of electric vehicles and VinFast’s advanced technology products.
Regarding VinRobotics, Hanoi University of Technology will collaborate on scientific research and the development of modern, highly applicable products and technologies. Hanoi University of Technology will receive topics from VinRobotics, conduct research, complete projects, and provide solutions in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence for application within the Vingroup ecosystem and for the market.
VinFast and VinRobotics will also provide scholarships and specialized training courses for Hanoi University of Technology students who meet the requirements from the Engineering sector.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice Director of Hanoi University of Technology, shared, “We are extremely impressed with VinFast’s achievements over the past time. Electric vehicles are the future development trend and align with the orientation of high-quality human resource training and scientific research in the automotive engineering sector of Hanoi University of Technology. Through this cooperation with VinFast and VinRobotics, our students and lecturers will have more opportunities to access advanced technologies and techniques, gaining practical experience to meet the demands and requirements of the labor market and potential employers upon graduation.”
