The 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 is a stunning car with a unique look, upgraded by renowned artist Richard Orlinski. However, the asking price of $2 million is still considered too high compared to the actual value of the car.

Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS have long been icons in the sports car world, renowned for their sporty driving feel, attractive design, and superior performance. While it’s not uncommon for a used 911 to be sold for more than its original price, a listing for a 2007 Porsche 997 GT3 has surprised many with its asking price of $2 million.

This 997-generation Porsche 911 GT3 features a unique exterior paint job, created by Richard Orlinski, a French sculptor, and famous pop artist.

To transform this 911 GT3 into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, Orlinski spent 500 hours applying 10 layers of gray paint and 11 layers of vibrant yellow. The patterns on the body reflect Orlinski’s distinctive style, and his personal touch is also evident through a metal plaque bearing his signature inside the cabin.

This Porsche 911 GT3 has an ODO reading of 41,240 km, which is relatively low for an 18-year-old car. It still boasts its original 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing 409 horsepower and a GT3-specific chassis setup. Additionally, it comes with several optional features, including the Club Sport package, Sport Chrono package, bi-xenon headlights, cruise control, and more.

This custom build was completed in 2018 to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Porsche 911 and the Rolex Daytona. According to Classic Driver, the car was auctioned off in Monaco that same year, with an estimated price range of €185,000 to €230,000 ($192,800 – $239,700).

The $2 million price tag on this car is considered unreasonable. A quick online search reveals that a similarly configured 911 GT3 is currently listed for around $130,000.
