British automotive brand, Mika, has recently unveiled intriguing images and details of its upcoming mini electric vehicle with a unique design.

The mini electric car is expected to be priced below £15,000, making it accessible to a wide range of customers.

With a length of 3.4 meters and a weight of just 450 kg (excluding batteries), this compact vehicle packs a punch. It is powered by two 48V electric motors, delivering a continuous output of 20 horsepower and a peak power of 40 horsepower. The energy source is a 16 kWh battery pack placed under the floor, offering a range of 128 kilometers. For those seeking more, an optional 32 kWh battery doubles the range to 256 kilometers, while the top speed stands at 90 km/h.

Mika’s mini car stands out with its quirky head and tail designs, ensuring it captures attention and distinguishes itself from other mini cars on the market.

Mika mini EV accommodates three passengers with two seats in the front and one in the back.

Safety is a key highlight of this vehicle. The Mika mini EV boasts a robust cockpit constructed from pultrusion-made materials, a technology that creates lightweight, durable, and exceptionally strong composites. Additionally, it features impact-absorbing zones at the front and rear, coupled with a sturdy chassis. The founder of Mika proudly claims that their mini car is akin to a “mobile fortress.”

Mika intends to launch the Mika mini EV in 2025 and is currently seeking manufacturing partners to meet the demand in the UK.
