It’s hard to believe that anyone would look at a Lamborghini Revuelto and think it needs more attention. But Mansory, the world-renowned car modification company, has never shied away from modifying products that many consider already perfect.
On their latest project, the Lamborghini Revuelto, they’ve incorporated carbon fiber, their signature custom wheels, and a slight engine upgrade. Dubbed the Mansory Initiate, it’s the first time the modifier has experimented with a plug-in hybrid V12 engine, finishing it with sharper lines, increased power, and enough carbon fiber to rival a Boeing factory.
Its carbon fiber body kit doesn’t stray far from the already aggressive-looking stock Lamborghini Revuelto; it just amplifies the sharp edges and impressive angles. Up front, the Revuelto features a fully carbon fiber ventilated hood, along with a sharper splitter and extended bumper. The redesigned side skirts feature vents and integrated wings, and there’s a new trim on the Z-shaped cooling air intakes.
But the pièce de résistance has to be the diffuser. This thing is so big and so aggressive it looks like it was stolen from a future prototype for the Revuelto SVJ. And in case you didn’t know who to thank for this madness, there’s a bright yellow Mansory logo slapped right on it.
Finally, a custom wing extension and engine cover share the same carbon fiber finish. The Mansory Initiate rides on a new set of FV.10 wheels with 10 spokes and a diameter of 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. The wheels are fitted with sticky tires sized 265/30 at the front and 355/25 at the back.
Inside, Mansory continues its usual theme of “if you can dream it, we’ll re-trim it“. The showcase car features leather and suede interior with yellow accents on the seats, stitching, and logos, in case someone needs reminding that this is an expensive car.
Moving on to performance upgrades, the 6.5-liter V12 engine has been boosted by 54 horsepower to 868 hp, while torque is up by 35 Nm to 760 Nm. The two electric motors of the plug-in hybrid drivetrain remain unchanged, contributing to a total system output of 1,055 hp.
The performance improvements are small but respectable; the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is down to 2.4 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 354 km/h. Mansory asserts that the increased power makes a difference. No information is given on the cost of these upgrades, but with that much carbon fiber, it surely won’t come cheap.
