Genesis Unveils the Updated GV60: A Luxurious All-Electric SUV
The 2025 Genesis GV60 has received a mid-life refresh, with updates primarily focusing on its front and rear design.
The new GV60 features a refreshed grille accompanied by a two-tier split headlight design with new Micro Lens Array technology. The front bumper has also been tweaked for a sportier and more aggressive look.
The 2025 Genesis GV60 now offers an optional new 21-inch wheel design with matching mudguards, creating a seamless and sophisticated appearance. The rear bumper has also been color-coordinated for a harmonious and striking overall design.
Inside, the Genesis GV60 2025 boasts a luxurious and modern cabin with a new 27-inch display that combines the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel has also been redesigned for a more refined look.
It is unclear if the 2025 Genesis GV60 has received any updates to its powertrain. However, it is likely that this mid-life refresh will see the SUV equipped with an 84 kWh battery pack, similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, replacing the 77.4 kWh battery of its predecessor.
The current GV60 offers two powertrain options:
Firstly, the Standard RWD model features a single electric motor producing 225 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Secondly, the Dual Motor AWD variant utilizes two electric motors, generating a maximum output of 429 horsepower, which can be temporarily boosted to 483 horsepower.
The 2025 Genesis GV60 is expected to go on sale in South Korea in the first quarter of 2025, followed by its launch in other markets such as Australia in the third quarter of the same year.
