In a recent terrifying incident, an electric car explosion occurred outside the hotel of President-elect Donald Trump, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries.

Specifically, on January 1, 2025, a Tesla Cybertruck stopped in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The vehicle then “lowered its body like a bus” and suddenly exploded. The blast killed the Tesla driver and injured seven others.

The police are investigating the incident, and it is likely that the explosion was a deliberate act of terrorism. It is known that the pickup truck was rented through the Turo app and appeared to be carrying a large amount of fireworks when it exploded.

Following the incident, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, posted on social media: “Tesla’s top executives are investigating this matter. We will post more information as soon as we can. We have never seen anything like this.”

The Tesla explosion occurred just hours after another pickup truck suddenly plowed into a crowd in New Orleans’ famous French Quarter on New Year’s Day, resulting in at least ten deaths.
