The “King of Pickup Trucks” Ford Ranger now has a new variant, the XLS+, priced from 733 million VND.
On the homepage of Ford Vietnam, the Ranger XLS+ is priced at 733 million VND. This brings the total number of variants of this pickup truck to seven, including the XL, XLS, XLS+, Sport, Wildtrak, Stormtrak, and Raptor, with prices ranging from 669 million to 1.299 billion VND. Among these, the XLS+ is the third most affordable option, positioned above the XL and XLS.

According to Ford Vietnam, the new Ranger XLS+ will cater to customers who want to personalize their vehicles to suit their work, family, and daily recreational needs. This variant features a double cabin body style and is assembled in Vietnam.
Compared to the XLS, the Ford Ranger XLS+ comes with additional features such as a bed liner and a roll cover. Meanwhile, other specifications like the LED headlights in the shape of the letter “C”, fog lights, chrome grille, and 16-inch wheels remain unchanged from the XLS variant.

Inside the cabin, the Ford Ranger XLS+ is equipped with fabric seats, a manually adjustable 6-way driver’s seat, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system, and support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Under the hood, the XLS+ variant is powered by the familiar 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, producing a maximum output of 170 horsepower and a peak torque of 405 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, and the vehicle is available with either rear-wheel drive (4×2) or four-wheel drive (4×4).
During January 2025, Ford is offering promotions for customers purchasing the Ranger pickup truck. The XLS, Sport, Stormtrak, and Raptor variants are eligible for a 50% discount on registration fees, with values ranging from 20 to 39 million VND, depending on the model. For the Wildtrak variant, customers can choose between a 50% discount on registration fees plus one year of physical damage insurance or a cash benefit of 35 million VND.
Ford’s promotional program for the Ranger is valid from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025, and applies to vehicles manufactured in 2024 (with a VIN starting with 2024).
In the first eleven months of 2024, the Ford Ranger achieved cumulative sales of 15,904 units, leading the pickup truck segment. It was also one of the best-selling models in the Vietnamese market last year.
