With Lunar New Year just around the corner, Toyota is offering a promotional program for its Yaris Cross model this January 2025 to capture the pre-holiday shopping spree.
Toyota customers who purchase the B-segment SUV will receive a 50% discount on registration fees from the manufacturer. This offer applies to both the gasoline and hybrid versions of the car. The maximum registration fee discount for the Toyota Yaris Cross is 33 million VND for the gasoline version and 38 million VND for the hybrid version.
The program is valid for all customers who purchase the vehicle, complete the full payment process, and receive the value-added tax invoice from the dealer between January 2nd, 2025, and January 27th, 2025.
Additionally, Toyota is offering attractive interest rates starting from 6.99% per year for customers buying the Yaris Cross and other models. Special support is also available for Grab and Be drivers who purchase the Veloz or Avanza in January 2025, with financial incentives at an interest rate of only 1.99% per year as part of Toyota Vietnam’s special program for ride-hailing drivers.
Furthermore, in 2025, Toyota Vietnam will continue to offer a warranty extension promotion for various models. Detailed information is as follows:

With these manufacturer incentives, the Toyota Yaris Cross will be more competitive against the segment’s sales leader, the Mitsubishi Xforce. In December 2024, Toyota sold 1,578 units of the Yaris Cross in Vietnam, a 32.8% increase. This brought the cumulative sales of the Toyota Yaris Cross in 2024 to 11,174 units.
However, this figure is still lower than the cumulative sales of the Mitsubishi Xforce for the first eleven months of 2024 (13,267 units). Nevertheless, the Toyota Yaris Cross has secured its position as the second best-selling B-segment SUV in Vietnam last year.
Imported from Indonesia, the Toyota Yaris Cross is available in two versions, with prices ranging from 650 million to 765 million VND. The car’s appealing design and comprehensive features, even in the base model, give it a competitive edge.
The most significant difference between the two versions lies in their engines. The gasoline version is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 105 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable D-CVT transmission. On the other hand, the hybrid version features a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 90 horsepower and a 79 horsepower electric motor, coupled with a lithium-ion battery.
