Kawasaki Europe has unveiled the highly anticipated ZX-4R, marking a significant addition to their lineup. The bike is offered in three thrilling variants: ZX-4R, ZX-4R SE, and the top-of-the-line ZX-4RR, which proudly bears the prestigious RR suffix, a first for Kawasaki.
At a glance, the ZX-4R bears a striking resemblance to its smaller sibling, the ZX-25R. Aside from subtle differences in graphics, the most notable distinction is the traditional exhaust design, as opposed to the under-engine placement found on the ZX-25R.
The ZX-4R SE stands out with its unique graphics, complemented by a dark-tinted windshield, USB charging port, and both quick shifter and anti-wheelie systems. The crown jewel of the range, the ZX-4RR, boasts a Showa BFRC-Lite rear shock, mirroring the setup on Kawasaki’s flagship sportbike, the ZX-10R.
Powering the ZX-4R is a liquid-cooled, 399cc inline-four engine, producing a healthy 77.4 horsepower, which can be boosted to 80.2 horsepower with Ram Air. This engine is designed to rev high, with a maximum rpm of 15,000, ensuring an exhilarating riding experience.
Pricing details for the Kawasaki ZX-4R range have not yet been disclosed. However, it is expected that this exciting model will make its way to the Vietnamese market during the year. Kawasaki Vietnam currently offers a comprehensive range of sportbikes, from 250cc to 1,000cc, with prices ranging from VND 159 million to VND 1.299 billion.
