Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd. (HVN) announces retail sales results for its motorcycle and automobile business in December and the full year of 2024.
The results are compiled from authorized Honda Motorcycle and Automobile Dealers/Distributors and HVN’s estimates.
According to the report, Honda sold 230,509 motorcycles in December 2024, a 4.3% increase from the previous month and a 0.5% rise year-on-year.
Total sales for the full year 2024 amounted to 2,147,025 units, a 2.8% increase compared to 2023. Consequently, HVN’s motorcycle market share in 2024 stood at approximately 80.9% (within the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association – VAMM), a 2.09% decrease from the previous year. In the automobile business, Honda Vietnam recorded sales of 2,374 units in December 2024, a 49% decrease from the previous month and a 42% drop year-on-year. Total sales for the full year 2024 reached 28,267 units, a 19% increase compared to 2023. Details are as follows:
