One of the most discreet and little-known supercar collections in Vietnam belongs to a businessman from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, who owns an impressive garage of nearly 10 supercars, luxury cars, sports cars, and high-end SUVs, estimated to be worth nearly VND 200 billion.

Recently, the businessman was spotted driving one of his prized possessions, a stunning McLaren 720S Spider, which he acquired over four years ago but has only taken out on the roads a handful of times. This particular McLaren 720S Spider is believed to have the lowest mileage on its odometer.

This convertible McLaren 720S Spider, now a resident of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, boasts a fiery orange exterior, one of only two McLaren 720S Spiders in Vietnam to wear this vibrant Orange McLaren shade. The other one calls Ho Chi Minh City its home. This unique supercar, bearing the provincial license plate, is the sixth McLaren 720S Spider to be imported into the country.

It is understood that this McLaren 720S Spider in Vung Tau is the top-of-the-line Performance variant, featuring numerous exterior components made from carbon fiber, including the front bumper, hood air intake, side skirts, rear bumper, mirror caps, and more.

The interior of this McLaren 720S Spider is just as impressive, with an Alcantara-clad cockpit in dark hues, accented by orange stripes on the seats and carbon fiber trim. The estimated price of the McLaren 720S Spider in Vietnam starts from VND 23 billion for the standard version.

At the heart of this convertible supercar is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering a staggering 710 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Power is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission, enabling the McLaren 720S Spider to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 341 km/h with the roof up.

However, with the retractable hardtop lowered, the supercar’s top speed is slightly reduced to 325 km/h. The McLaren 720S Spider is undoubtedly one of the most powerful convertible supercars with a V8 engine currently available in the world.
