Looking for a convenient and affordable scooter to get around Ho Chi Minh City, Hoang Nam, a sophomore at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, shared that he chose the VinFast Feliz S after his friends recommended it as a durable and extremely fuel-efficient option. Upon his own research, Nam was surprised to find that VinFast electric scooters offer not only a great purchase price but also very low operating costs compared to gasoline scooters.

“With a student’s limited budget, the Feliz S is a perfect fit. I bought it during a promotion for only 24 million VND. My monthly electricity cost is just 50,000 VND, and with battery rental, it’s around 200,000 VND. Compared to my previous gasoline scooter, I save more than 200,000 VND every month,” Nam calculated.

With discounts of up to 12 million VND for customers who buy the scooter with a battery or 3 million VND for those who rent a battery, the Feliz S becomes extremely attractive, even cheaper than an iPhone.

“With this budget, you’d only find basic gasoline scooters. Meanwhile, the Feliz S offers a stylish design, suitability for various terrains, and advanced technologies. So, I took advantage of the promotion to make the purchase,” Nam further explained his choice.

Sharing the same opinion as Nam, a sales consultant at a VinFast electric scooter store in Ho Chi Minh City revealed, “Since the promotion started, we’ve seen a significant increase in customer interest in the Feliz S. Many students and housewives have come to inquire about the scooter due to its reasonable price, which fits their economic situation.”

According to the consultant, electric scooters are no longer perceived as cheap alternatives for students but are increasingly becoming the daily choice for Vietnamese commuters, thanks to VinFast’s entry into the market. “I used to be hesitant about electric scooters, thinking they weren’t convenient. But since switching to the Feliz S, I find it much easier to go grocery shopping, pick up my kids, or move around the city. The scooter runs smoothly and quietly,” shared Thu Hien, a housewife from Ho Chi Minh City.

Hien shared that she occasionally uses the Feliz S for weekend trips to her hometown, which involves riding on rough roads, and she feels confident doing so thanks to the scooter’s large wheels, suitable for all terrains.

Additionally, Hien’s favorite feature is the scooter’s water resistance. She recounted instances where she could ride through flooded areas while owners of gasoline scooters had to push their vehicles. “You can charge at home, and on the road, you don’t have to worry about flooding. Just these two points make electric scooters so much better than gasoline ones,” she enthused.
