VinFast delivered over 20,000 vehicles in December 2024 in the Vietnamese market, achieving an unprecedented sales record in the history of the domestic automobile market. This brought the total number of vehicles delivered in Vietnam alone to more than 87,000 for the year.

With this outstanding record, VinFast officially surpassed its set sales target, solidifying its position as Vietnam’s number one automotive brand.

The number of VinFast vehicles delivered to customers in December 2024 broke all previous sales records and even exceeded the total number of vehicles sold by many other automakers in the Vietnamese market for the entire year.

This remarkable achievement was made possible by the steady sales growth of most models. Notably, the VF 5 was the best-selling model in the product line-up and the top-selling vehicle in the domestic market in 2024. Specifically, in December 2024, VinFast delivered more than 4,900 VF 5s, bringing the annual total to over 32,000 units. Following closely behind was the VF 3, with over 8,800 units delivered in December 2024 and a cumulative total of more than 25,000 units in just five months. Additionally, the VF 6 line also witnessed significant sales growth in December, reaching over 2,700 units.

By the end of 2024, VinFast had sold a total of over 87,000 electric vehicles in Vietnam alone, far surpassing its global delivery target and providing a strong impetus and foundation for the company’s continued growth in 2025.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Vice President of Global Sales at VinFast, shared: “VinFast has overcome tremendous challenges through perseverance, continuous effort, and innovation to achieve outstanding business results in 2024. We sincerely thank our distribution partners for their unity and dedication, and our customers for their support and trust, which have contributed to VinFast becoming the number one automotive brand in Vietnam. We are committed to working tirelessly to better meet the evolving needs and expectations of our valued customers.”

VinFast’s commitment to standing by its customers has been demonstrated through practical policies and actions, such as extending the free charging policy for individual customers until June 30, 2027, partnering with seven leading insurance companies to expedite claim processes, and offering festive gifts as a token of appreciation.

Additionally, VinFast has collaborated with various local governments, organizations, and prominent businesses to promote green transition initiatives in Vietnam, supporting campaigns like “Mãnh Liệt Tinh Thần Việt Nam – Vì Tương Lai Xanh” and “Vì Thủ Đô Trong Xanh” with attractive incentives for users.
