Today, on the 10th of January 2025, Vingroup announces a series of decisive and concrete actions across various fields, with a particular focus on urban transportation. The ceremony is honored with the presence of leaders from the Hanoi People’s Committee, representatives from ministries, sectors, branches, as well as political-social organizations and enterprises operating in the capital.

This is an urgent initiative given the poor air quality in Hanoi, which is often ranked among the worst in the world. According to reports by the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment, transportation is identified as the largest source of emissions, accounting for up to 70% of pollutants in the city.

For this reason, Vingroup has decided to launch the “For a Green Hanoi” campaign to encourage the community to take action and reclaim the city’s blue sky, especially by reducing emissions in the transportation sector.

Starting from January 10, 2025, Vingroup and its ecosystem of green mobility companies, including VinFast, VinBus, GSM, and FGF, will simultaneously implement numerous supportive activities and policies for customers purchasing, leasing, and using electric vehicles on a daily basis.

Specifically, VinFast is offering a subsidy of up to 70 million VND for all customers who buy electric cars and register for circulation in Hanoi from January 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026. The exact amount of support will vary depending on the model and the choice of buying with a battery or leasing a battery, ranging from 3.6 million VND (for VF 3 with a leased battery) to 70 million VND (for VF 9 with a purchased battery).
