Land Rover Unveils the New Range Rover Evoque: A Stunning SUV with Cutting-Edge Technologies

Captivating Design

The new Range Rover Evoque showcases a subtle evolution of its minimalist design language, featuring distinctive coupe-like proportions, a distinctive roofline, a continuous waistline, and deployable door handles. The new grille design also brings a harmonious and unified look to the entire Range Rover family.

The exterior design is accentuated by sleek new super-slim headlights, featuring advanced Pixel LED technology that creates a jewel-like effect, delivering precise illumination, and complemented by crisp daytime running light graphics.

The design’s subtlety and technological innovation blend seamlessly with the improved interior. The center console is simplified with a new gear selector design, providing a smooth and tactile experience for automatic transmission variants, while the Pivi Pro2 infotainment system is controlled via a crisp 11.4-inch curved touchscreen, allowing easy access and adjustment of the vehicle’s key functions.

The cabin feels more inviting with the panoramic sunroof, flooding the interior with natural light, along with the option of non-leather fabric materials, creating a soft and comfortable ambiance.

In addition to traditional leather, customers can choose from a range of innovative new materials. Subtle details like Moonlight chrome on the steering wheel, center console trim, and air vents add a refined touch. The Moonlight chrome finish is beautifully complemented by new trim finishers, including premium light or dark Anodised Aluminum (depending on the model), and Ash Shadow Grey veneer for an elegant finish.

The Range Rover Evoque‘s color palette now includes Arroios Grey, Tribeca Green, and Corinthian Bronze, while contrast roof options allow customers to express their personal style with Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze choices. The vehicle’s exterior is further enhanced by eight alloy wheel designs, up to 21 inches in size, and five new finish options.

Seamless Connectivity

The Range Rover Evoque is equipped with the latest Pivi Pro2 infotainment system, controlled via a curved 11.4-inch touchscreen. This screen integrates the vehicle’s key functions and appears to “float” above the center console, creating a modern and refined aesthetic.

Control buttons for climate, seats, and volume are always visible on the two side bars, with convenient multifunction sliders. This allows users to easily access frequently used features such as individual temperature control for front seats, cameras, navigation, and volume with just a few quick touches.

The new-generation infotainment system has been rigorously tested in the digital and real-world environments, with user participation, to ensure faster and more intuitive usage. Approximately 80% of the functions can be accessed with just two taps on the home screen, making every interaction simple and convenient.

The Pivi Pro2 infotainment system enables easy smartphone integration via wireless Apple CarPlay®™8 and also supports wireless Android Auto®. Additionally, wireless charging in the new storage area in the center console reduces the number of cables required.

The Range Rover Evoque also boasts a suite of advanced camera technologies, including 3D Surround View Camera, Ground View™18 technology, and ClearSight™19 Rear-View Mirror, providing peace of mind and aiding the driver’s all-around visibility.

Unparalleled Refinement

The Range Rover Evoque delivers familiar refinement with advanced technologies that enhance comfort and health, along with carefully curated option packs.

The Range Rover Evoque also prioritizes creating the cleanest in-cabin environment, featuring the most advanced air quality management technology in its class. The Cabin Air Ionisation with PM2.5 filtration, standard on the Autobiography or available within the Comfort Pack, is enhanced from the previous version for improved efficacy.

The Cabin Air Ionisation with PM2.5 filtration, standard on the Autobiography or available as part of the Comfort Pack, integrates a PM2.5 filter and CO2 management technology to protect the health of the entire family and keep the driver alert by controlling CO2 levels in the cabin. Pressing the Purify button within the Air Quality section of the Pivi Pro2 infotainment system activates the system, reducing allergens and fine particles within the vehicle. It employs Nanoe™ X technology to eliminate bacteria and significantly reduce odors, bacteria, and allergens. Additionally, the Air Quality Index (AQI) application allows customers to monitor the outdoor air quality at their current location and destination directly on the screen.15

Night-time visibility is enhanced by the new Pixel LED headlights, featuring distinctive Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)1. Standard on the Dynamic HSE and Autobiography variants, this system utilizes three times the number of LEDs compared to the previous Matrix LED setup. Each cluster comprises four pixel modules with 67 precisely controlled LEDs, automatically adapting to driving conditions for optimal illumination.

The Dynamic Bending Lights use vehicle speed and steering angle data to adjust the light beam, illuminating tight corners and dark roadsides. The headlights can project light up to nearly half a kilometer, ensuring the clearest view for the driver.

The Adaptive Driving Beam automatically adjusts according to the vehicle’s speed, preventing glare by creating shadows around up to four vehicles ahead. At low speeds, the light spread is widened, while at speeds above 70 km/h, the system focuses on projecting a longer and more powerful beam.

Electrified Performance

Superior all-terrain capability is assured by the intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, which automatically distributes torque to optimize traction, ensuring agile on-road handling and effortless traction on slippery surfaces.

Terrain Response 2® is accessible through Pivi Pro2 and allows the driver to adjust the vehicle’s settings to suit the driving environment, with Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic, and Automatic mode options. Each mode calibrates the engine, transmission, all-wheel-drive system, suspension, and stability control for optimal traction and composure.
