2024 saw a diverse range of supercars being imported to Vietnam, both through official and private channels. However, not all of these exquisite vehicles found owners.
Ferrari
Last year, Ferrari introduced several models to Vietnam, with the Roma Spider standing out as the most remarkable. The car was imported in July 2024 and quickly found its owner in Hanoi just weeks after its debut. According to announcements, this supercar is priced at a staggering 24 billion VND (excluding on-road costs).
The Ferrari Roma Spider captivates with its classic design language, complemented by soft and graceful curves that extend from the front hood, accentuating the sides and the low-slung cockpit towards the rear.
The Ferrari Roma Spider is powered by a front-mounted V8 twin-turbo engine, a departure from the mid-rear engine configuration of other Ferrari supercars. This 3.9L engine delivers an impressive 620 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed Magna 8DCL900 dual-clutch gearbox located at the rear to optimize weight distribution.
With this power, the Ferrari Roma Spider sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches 0-200 km/h in 9.3 seconds, eventually topping out at over 320 km/h.
McLaren
McLaren also made a statement last year by importing the dynamic duo of the McLaren 750S and McLaren 750S Spider to Vietnam. These supercars were subsequently delivered to two fortunate individuals in Ho Chi Minh City.
In early December 2024, McLaren unveiled the Artura Spider, priced at over 17 billion VND. Within a month of its introduction, a businessman from Vung Tau snapped it up.
Lamborghini
The past year has been incredibly busy for Lamborghini, as they launched the Revuelto supercar in Vietnam with a starting price of 43.99 billion VND.
Succeeding the Aventador, the Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first supercar to feature a V12 plug-in HPEV engine. The Lamborghini Revuelto is powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 725 Nm at 6,750 rpm. This is complemented by two electric motors on the front wheels and a third electric motor coupled with a new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive. The combined output of this complex powertrain surpasses 1,001 horsepower, outperforming its siblings, the Aventador SVJ (770 horsepower) and Sian (819 horsepower). The Revuelto can reach a top speed of 355 km/h and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in a breathtaking 2.5 seconds.
Additionally, Lamborghini delivered several other models last year, including the Huracan Tecnica, Urus S, and Urus Performante.
