Toyota Achieves Impressive Sales and Production Figures in 2024, Aiming for 1 Million Cumulative Sales in 2025

Toyota has sold an impressive 68,128 units in 2024 (including Lexus), bringing their cumulative total to over 984,000 units. The Japanese automaker is inching closer to its goal of reaching 1 million in sales by 2025 and becoming the first automotive brand in Vietnam to achieve this milestone. In terms of production, Toyota has rolled out 27,884 units, taking their cumulative production to nearly 700,000 units.

Last year, Toyota dealerships across the nation served over 1.9 million customers, a 9% increase from 2023, bringing the total number of vehicles serviced to nearly 20 million. Additionally, their export of vehicle components and parts generated a revenue of over $64.8 million, with cumulative exports surpassing $928 million. With these remarkable business achievements, Toyota has contributed over $884 million to the state budget, bringing their total contributions to date to more than $13.9 billion.

Several of Toyota’s key models have maintained their strong market position, with the Vios and Yaris Cross ranking in the top 10 best-selling cars of 2024, selling 14,210 and 11,174 units respectively. With a diverse range of Hybrid vehicles, including 6 models and 7 versions, Toyota recorded sales of 5,350 units, doubling their sales from 2023 and solidifying their leadership in Vietnam’s Hybrid market.

2024 also marked a year of innovation for Toyota, showcasing their youthful and trusted brand through various events, while consistently conveying their multi-dimensional approach towards their carbon neutrality goal. Alongside their business operations, Toyota actively contributes to Vietnamese society across multiple fields, with total contributions exceeding $31 million.
