Subaru Unveils the New 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid
The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is powered by an advanced hybrid system, combining a new 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder boxer engine with an electric motor, delivering a total of 194 horsepower and 208 Nm of torque.
The vehicle is equipped with a small 1.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, paired with Subaru’s signature symmetrical all-wheel drive and a CVT transmission.
According to Subaru, the new hybrid system offers over 20% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to its predecessor. This translates to an estimated fuel economy of 8.71 liters per 100 km in city driving and 7.13 liters per 100 km on the highway.
The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid not only boasts a new hybrid powertrain but also introduces two new exterior colors: Sand Dune Pearl and Citron Yellow Pearl. It also features exclusive 18-inch dark alloy wheels.
The interior has been enhanced with an optional 11.6-inch infotainment screen.
The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is scheduled to go on sale in the fall of 2025, with pricing to be announced at a later date.
