Despite being new launches, VinFast VF 3, Mitsubishi Xforce, Hyundai Accent, and Hyundai Santa Fe have quickly garnered attention from customers.
In the highly competitive Vietnamese automotive market, car manufacturers strive to gain an edge by offering a diverse range of products across different segments to cater to the varying needs of local consumers. While some models barely sell a few units per month, others have become instant favorites, boasting monthly sales figures in the thousands. The following are the top-selling models, based on average monthly sales of 1,000 units or more.
VinFast VF 3 – Approximately 5,000 units per month
Introduced to the Vietnamese market in May 2024, the VF 3 has quickly won over customers with its youthful and modern design, as well as its affordable price point. In just five months of sales (from August to December 2024), VF 3’s total sales volume exceeded 25,000 units, resulting in an average monthly delivery of 5,000 cars to customers.
The VF 3 is offered at a listed price of VND 240 million when leasing the battery or VND 322 million when purchasing the car with the battery.Â
Mitsubishi Xforce – 1,441 units per month
Making its debut in Vietnam in January 2024 and hitting the market in March, the Xforce has achieved a total sales volume of 14,407 units over a ten-month period. On average, 1,441 Mitsubishi Xforce vehicles are delivered to customers each month.
In Vietnam, the Mitsubishi Xforce is available in four versions, priced from VND 599 million to VND 705 million.
Hyundai Accent 2024 – 1,360 units per month
In late May 2024, Hyundai unveiled the new-generation Accent for the Vietnamese market, featuring comprehensive upgrades in design, equipment, and engine performance. Within seven months of its launch, the Accent recorded sales of 9,518 units, translating to an average monthly delivery of approximately 1,359.7 cars.
The 2024 Hyundai Accent is offered in four versions in Vietnam, with prices ranging from VND 439 million to VND 569 million.
Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 – 950 units per month
Introduced in September, the new-generation Santa Fe, despite sparking controversies over its design, has proven its appeal to Vietnamese customers. With total sales reaching 3,800 units, the elevated D-segment model from Hyundai delivers approximately 950 cars to customers each month.
The 2024 Santa Fe is currently available in five versions, with prices ranging from VND 1.069 billion to VND 1.365 billion.
