On January 19, BYD revealed interior images of its Tang L SUV and Han L sedan, following their official launch on January 17. The pricing will be announced at the launch event in March.
The BYD Tang L features a dual-tone color scheme, with a large area covered in orange material and accented with dark grey trim. It is expected to have a 15.6-inch central control screen and support for AR-HUD. There’s a D-shaped steering wheel with a dashboard behind it, along with hidden air conditioning vents.
The central console has an arched shape and is hollow at the bottom. Some physical buttons are retained on the central dashboard. The interior layout is 2x3x2.
The BYD Han L’s interior also follows a similar dual-tone color contrast, except it is covered with a large area of light brown material. The character 汉 on the D-shaped steering wheel indicates the identity of the car.
The interior layout is 2×3 and can accommodate five people as standard. There are also reports of a refrigerator and Dynaudio speakers inside.
Previously, it was reported that the BYD Han L sedan would feature super-fast charging thanks to its 945 V architecture. It can charge from 16% to 100% in 24 minutes at -30 °C. Charging from 16% to 80% takes 10 minutes, while going from 80% to a full charge takes an additional 14 minutes, even in freezing conditions. Even at -30°C, the car can be charged using a 120 kW charger.
