On January 20, BYD announced that it had delivered its 10,000th Denza Z9 GT, becoming the fastest new energy luxury GT model to reach this milestone.

Prior to this, the Denza Z9 GT received over 5,000 orders within 36 hours of its launch. The Denza Z9 GT, launched in September 2024, is available in three PHEV and two EV variants.

Denza Z9 GT’s impressive sales performance has BYD beaming with pride.

In terms of exterior design, the overall theme of the Denza Z9 GT is dubbed “Elegance in Motion.” Specifically, the front design draws inspiration from the vitality of dawn, while the rear brings a “classic symmetrical aesthetic.”

Built on BYD’s e-3 platform, the PHEV variant measures 5195/1990/1500 mm in dimensions with a 3125 mm wheelbase. The EV variant has a length of 5180 mm, while the other dimensions remain the same. Moreover, the Denza Z9 GT officially recorded a moose test speed of over 85 km/h.

Inside, the AI-defined smart cockpit is powered by BYD’s 9000 cockpit chip and can connect up to 10 screens.

It features a 13.2-inch embedded full LCD dashboard, a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a 17.3-inch central control touch screen, a 13.2-inch co-driver entertainment screen, a 50-inch AR-HUD, digital rearview mirrors, and two screens for the digital side mirrors.

The front and rear seats are electrically adjustable and offer heating, ventilation, and 10-point massage functions. The co-driver seat features a gravity-free design with a four-way adjustable footrest. The car is also equipped with power doors.

Additionally, the interior boasts two refrigerators for both front and rear seats, retractable Devialet speakers, two retractable 50W wireless chargers, hidden air vents, 128-color ambient lighting, and a 2.1-square-meter panoramic sunroof.

In terms of performance, the PHEV variant integrates BYD’s DM 5.0 technology, including a 2.0T 152 kW (204 hp) engine, a 200 kW (268 hp) front electric motor, and two rear electric motors with a combined output of 440 kW (590 hp). It is paired with a 38.512 kWh Blade battery. The pure electric range is rated at 201 km, while the comprehensive range is 1,100 km.

The EV variant features a 230 kW (308 hp) front electric motor, two rear electric motors with a combined output of 480 kW (644 hp), and a 100 kWh Blade battery. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a CLTC range of 630 km. With its 800V high-voltage platform, the Denza Z9 GT EV can charge from 30% to 80% in just 19 minutes.
