The highly anticipated Rolls Royce Arcadia Droptail has finally been delivered to its proud owner in Singapore, marking its global debut since its launch in March 2024.
Named after the mythical land of Arcadia from Greek mythology, which signifies “Paradise on Earth,” this Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail embodies the legendary beauty and wonder.
It took Rolls-Royce four years to bring this masterpiece to life, from its initial sketch in 2019 to its completion.
The Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail is rumored to be priced at a staggering $30 million, approximately 721 billion VND. However, the owner had to pay three times the car’s initial value of $30 million to bring it to Singapore.
The Singapore-based collector is renowned for their extensive car collection, boasting over 1,000 automobiles, including rare supercars, hypercars, and racing cars.
Unlike its predecessors, La Nose Noire and Amethyst, Arcadia features a carbon fiber underbody and a silver paint job, creating a visual effect that makes the car appear elevated from the ground when viewed from the side. The main body is painted in a bespoke white color infused with aluminum dust and glass particles, giving it depth and a sparkling effect when hit by sunlight.
The car’s sail canopy inspiration is evident in its maritime-themed design, resembling the forward sails of a yacht. Other exterior details, such as the 22-inch wheels and grille surround, are polished to perfection.
The Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail exudes luxury with its extensive use of wood trim on the exterior and interior, reminiscent of a yacht’s deck.
To achieve a seamless blend on the complex body shape, Rolls-Royce artisans meticulously crafted a total of 233 wood pieces for the Arcadia Droptail, with 76 pieces dedicated to the rear deck alone.
The Arcadia Droptail’s cabin is a study in elegance, featuring a two-tone Bespoke color scheme exclusively created for the client. The primary color is a Bespoke White, complementing the exterior theme, while the contrasting color, a Sun-Tanned Bespoke Brown, is a perfect match for the wooden elements.
The dashboard showcases a straight-grained Santos veneer, housing a unique clock designed and crafted by the talented team at Rolls-Royce Coachbuild. This intricate timepiece is the most complex clock ever created by Rolls-Royce, taking over two years to develop and an additional five months to assemble. It combines a geometric guilloché pattern with 119 facets on a raw metal material.
Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail is powered by a familiar 6.75L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering an impressive 593 horsepower and 840 Nm of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under five seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
