BYD’s Denza Z9 GT luxury electric vehicle has recently surpassed an impressive milestone, with over 10,000 units delivered.

Prior to this, the Denza Z9 GT set a record by receiving more than 5,000 orders within 36 hours of its launch.

The Denza Z9 GT has a length of 5,180 mm, a width of 1,990 mm, and a height of 1,500/1,480 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. Despite its sedan classification, its design leans more towards a station wagon. It rivals the Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-Benz EQS.

The Denza Z9 GT’s cabin features AI processing power and a comprehensive display system, including a 13.2-inch LCD instrument panel, a 17.3-inch central control touchscreen, a 13.2-inch entertainment display for the passenger, a 50-inch AR-HUD, digital rearview mirrors, and two screens for the digital side mirrors.

Performance-wise, the Denza Z9 GT offers two powertrain options: a PHEV and a pure electric version. The PHEV is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that acts as a generator, supplying power to three electric motors, resulting in a combined output of 870 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.

When operating on pure electric power, the range is 201 km, and the total range with combined fuel usage is 1,100 km.

The pure electric version delivers an astonishing 950 horsepower with its three electric motors, sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Its 100 kWh battery provides an impressive range of 630 km on the CLTC standard.
