Introducing the AI-THd (AI Transformer Home, Drivable), a motorhome initially unveiled as a concept in 2024, with the first prototype revealed at CES 2025.
The AI-THd is a collaboration between Pininfarina and AC Future, merging the concepts of a motorhome and traditional housing. With the push of a button, the AI-THd transforms into a smart home. On the move, it offers 18.1 square meters of space, but when parked, sliding panels extend to provide a spacious 37.2 square meters, complete with all the comforts of home.
Much like other motorhomes, the AI-THd features a similar layout, including a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with cabinets, a sink, an induction cooktop, a large refrigerator, and a microwave. It also boasts a shower room with a glass partition, a toilet, a sink, and a washing machine. The master bedroom, located at the rear of the vehicle, comes with panoramic windows and a premium bed. One of the standout design features is the minimalist cockpit, with a dashboard that doubles as a workspace for the passenger.
Due to its sliding structure, the AI-THd has limited storage space. However, it makes up for this with smart features such as monitoring, automatic control, window tinting, and lighting adjustments.
Additionally, the AI-THd enables off-grid living with water recycling and purification systems, water creation, solar-powered air conditioning, internet connectivity, security, and a premium multi-zone audio system.
According to AC Future, the AI-THd offers a choice of EV or diesel powertrains and a 5kW+ solar panel system on the roof.
