The rare sighting of one of the three Lamborghini Reventon Roadster million-dollar supercars with a left-hand drive in Malaysia sparked excitement among car enthusiasts worldwide. But that’s not all — on this particular sunny day, the Prince of Malaysia decided to showcase three of his extremely expensive rides.
As he drove the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster back to his garage, one of the other cars that caught everyone’s attention was the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, of which there are only 60 in existence. What a treat for the eyes!
The owner of this exquisite Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is none other than Tunku Ismail Idris, a well-known enthusiast of the Bugatti brand. He was the first in Malaysia to own the Veyron, and he surprised everyone by adding the Chiron Super Sport to his collection, one of only 60 in the world.
With these additions, Tunku Ismail Idris is likely the second person in Malaysia to own a pair of Bugatti supercars simultaneously. The first was Chin Jit Pyng, who took possession of the Chiron, Veyron, and Divo but kept them in Singapore. Chin Jit Pyng has also pre-ordered two more Bugatti blockbusters: the Bolide and the Mistral Roadster.
Tunku Ismail Idris’ million-dollar Bugatti Chiron Super Sport features an all-black exterior and a striking blue interior, making it stand out from the crowd.
The Chiron Super Sport was born out of customer feedback. Bugatti listened to its clients’ complaints about the Chiron Super Sport 300+, which, despite its incredible top speed of 490.48 km/h, lacked some of the creature comforts and luxurious touches found in other models. As a result, the Chiron Super Sport was created to offer a combination of power and luxury.
The French supercar manufacturer produced only 60 of these exclusive Bugatti Chiron Super Sports worldwide, and they come with a hefty price tag of $3.9 million each, or approximately 90 billion VND. That’s a significant jump from the standard model, but customers are willing to pay for the combination of performance and luxury that the Chiron Super Sport offers.
Under the hood, the Tunku Ismail Idris’ million-dollar Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is powered by a W16 engine with a displacement of 8.0 liters and four turbochargers, generating a staggering 1,578 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. However, the top speed has been limited to 440 km/h for safety and regulatory compliance.
