Kia has recently unveiled the pricing for its newest CUV, the Syros, which is positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in the Indian market.
The Kia Syros 2025 offers a total of six variants, with prices ranging from 900,000 to 1,780,000 Rupees (approximately 260 to 514 million VND). While slightly more expensive than the Sonet, the Syros boasts larger dimensions and more impressive features.
Built on the K1 platform, the Syros measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,550 mm. Following the design language of recent Kia models, the Syros features a tiger-nose grille, vertically positioned headlights, and LED daytime running lights inspired by constellations.
In terms of interior, the Kia Syros stands out with its large 30-inch screen. This screen combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity and over-the-air software updates. It also includes a 5-inch screen for climate control.
Additionally, the Syros is equipped with a range of features, including a new two-spoke steering wheel similar to the Kia EV3, ambient lighting, cooling for both rows of seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, auto hold function, and wireless phone charging.
Under the hood, the Kia Syros offers a choice of two engines. The first is a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 120 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The second option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine that delivers 116 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 Kia Syros will be delivered to Indian customers in mid-February. In the market, it will compete with other A-segment CUVs, including the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Suzuki Brezza.
