In a recent revelation, select sales consultants from the northern region disclosed that Lexus is introducing two new hybrid variants of the RX model – the RX 350h Premium and RX 350h Luxury.

These new models are expected to launch in the Vietnamese market in the second quarter of this year. Several dealerships have already started taking reservations for these highly anticipated versions. Concurrently, Lexus will discontinue the RX 350 Luxury and RX 350 F Sport variants.

With the addition of these two hybrid options, the Lexus RX 2025 lineup will be available in four distinct versions through authorized distributors in Vietnam: RX 350 Premium, RX 350h Premium, RX 350h Luxury, and RX 500h F Sport Performance.

This shift in strategy means that instead of the previous one hybrid and three standard gasoline engine offerings, Lexus RX in Vietnam will now feature three hybrid versions and just one gasoline-powered option.

The Lexus RX 350h Luxury and Premium are powered by a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5L gasoline engine with an electric motor, coupled with an AWD system named E-Four and a self-charging NiMH battery.

While actual fuel economy figures are yet to be revealed, based on data from the Middle Eastern market, the RX 350h is expected to deliver exceptional efficiency, consuming approximately 4.8 liters per 100 km. In Singapore, the corresponding figure is 5.6 liters per 100 km.

Beyond the advanced powertrain, the Lexus RX 350h Luxury and Premium are expected to boast notable upgrades. These include two large displays, with a 14-inch central touchscreen, a head-up display (HUD), electrically adjustable seats with heating and cooling functions, and a tri-zone automatic climate control system. The Luxury variant takes it a notch higher with a Mark Levinson 21-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and a rearview mirror with an integrated digital display.

Both models are likely to be equipped with the comprehensive Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, offering an array of advanced safety features.
