The renowned Vietnamese businessman, Minh Nhá»±a, recently revealed that his McLaren Elva supercar, purchased over a year ago, has now been registered and licensed, exciting car enthusiasts across the nation.

Minh Nhá»±a, a prominent figure in the plastics industry, shared on social media several images of his McLaren Elva, now bearing license plates, along with the caption, “Nothing is impossible with perseverance. After many days of waiting, Elva has finally arrived home.” The post quickly garnered attention from car enthusiasts nationwide as this particular McLaren Elva, imported by Minh Nhá»±a approximately 17 months ago, boasts a staggering price tag of 8 million USD (~190 billion VND) according to exchange rates at the time of its announcement.

The exorbitant price of Minh Nhá»±a’s car can be attributed to its exclusivity, being a one-of-a-kind model developed by McLaren Special Operation (MSO), the brand’s personalization division, in collaboration with French-Vietnamese artist Hom Nguyen.

Additionally, to comply with Vietnamese road regulations, the McLaren Elva had to be fitted with a windshield, which is somewhat regrettable as the car was originally conceived as a speedster, typically characterized by the absence of a roof and windshield.

Minh Nhá»±a’s McLaren Elva sports a sleek black paint job with orange accents on the front bumper, sides, and air intakes. The most striking feature, however, is the artwork entitled “Icare,” inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus and hand-painted directly onto the car’s body by Hom Nguyen.

The artist dedicated 72 hours to perfecting this unique artwork on the one-of-a-kind Elva. The intricate details of the painting showcase the delicate beauty of a woman, only fully appreciable up close.

Powering this extraordinary Elva is a V8 twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters, delivering a staggering 804 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds.

The McLaren Elva is a limited-edition model, with only 149 units produced globally. Minh Nhá»±a is among the select few worldwide to own this exceptional supercar, a testament to his passion for extraordinary automobiles.
