The Lamborghini Reventon is an extremely limited-edition vehicle, with only 35 units produced globally. Of these, 20 were coupes, and just 15 were roadsters, including the first one unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007. Each car is individually numbered, and an additional car, numbered 00/20, resides in the Lamborghini museum.

The rarity of the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, with only 15 units in existence, makes it one of the most expensive and elusive Lamborghini supercars in the world. Recently, the owner of one of these roadsters in Malaysia took it out for a drive, causing a stir among car enthusiasts worldwide.

The Lamborghini Reventon is named after a fighting bull, bred by Don Heriberto Rodriguez, renowned for killing Mexican bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943. “Reventon” also means “explosion” or “burst” in Spanish, reflecting the excitement generated by the car’s debut, and it remains one of Lamborghini’s most famous models years later.

When it comes to limited-edition Lamborghini supercars, the Veneno, Sian, and the new Countach often come to mind. But for die-hard Lamborghini fans, the Reventon is a timeless design icon. Spotting one of these on the street is a rare occurrence, so when a freshly-minted Reventon was seen on the roads of Germany, it caught the attention of the wealthy and car enthusiasts alike.

What’s even more impressive is that the Lamborghini Reventon is currently appreciating in value, with its price increasing three to four times its original launch price.

The Reventon was also the first Lamborghini to feature daytime running lights integrated into the headlights. Each headlight comprises seven light-emitting diodes (LEDs) surrounding the main bi-xenon beam and remains illuminated whenever the car is in motion. Due to the high temperatures generated at the rear of the car, special heat-resistant LEDs are used for the turn signals, hazard lights, stop lights, and taillights, creating a distinctive three-arrow optical effect.
