Following the Lunar New Year celebrations, numerous car manufacturers and dealerships unveiled new promotional programs, including the German brand Volkswagen.

As announced by Volkswagen, several models will be offered with attractive incentives throughout this month, including the Viloran, Teramont X, Touareg, and Tiguan. Most of these vehicles are eligible for registration fee support from the brand.

Specifically, the Volkswagen Touareg, in both the Elegance and Luxury versions, is being offered with a 100% registration fee waiver. The original prices of these versions are VND 2.699 billion and VND 3.099 billion, respectively. With this promotion, customers can save approximately VND 270 million on the Elegance and VND 310 million on the Luxury version.

Similar to its bigger sibling, the Volkswagen Tiguan, priced at VND 1.688 billion, also comes with a 100% registration fee support during this February 2025. This amounts to a savings of VND 168 million for this C-segment SUV.

Meanwhile, the Volkswagen Teramont X is offered with a 50% registration fee discount. This model is currently available in two versions: Luxury and Platinum, priced at VND 1.998 billion and VND 2.168 billion, respectively. With the brand’s promotion, customers purchasing the Volkswagen Teramont X can save between VND 100 million and VND 108 million, depending on the version. Additionally, customers buying this model will also receive a complimentary electric step board.

Lastly, the Volkswagen Viloran comes with gifts including a dashcam and an OCP service package for 2 times/2 years. This large MPV has two versions and is priced from VND 1.989 billion to VND 2.188 billion. Despite its premium price tag, the Viloran is the best-selling Volkswagen model in Vietnam.

Official promotions for Volkswagen models in February 2025.

Overall, Volkswagen’s current promotions are among the most generous in the Vietnamese market. In addition to Volkswagen, several other brands are also offering significant discounts, including Kia, Honda, and Subaru.

Kia, for instance, is offering promotions ranging from VND 10 million to VND 110 million for the Sorento line-up. After the discount, the price of this mid-sized SUV drops to a range of VND 954 million to VND 1.424 billion.

Subaru, on the other hand, has reduced the price of the Subaru Forester by VND 150-220 million, bringing it down to VND 819-979 million. In addition to the Forester, Subaru is also offering promotional prices for the Crosstrek B-segment SUV, starting at VND 1.009-1.179 billion, which is VND 89 million less than the listed price.

As for Honda, the brand is supporting customers with a 100% registration fee for the standard G version. As a result, the Honda CR-V can now be purchased for just over VND 900 million.

The period following the Lunar New Year is typically a slow time for the Vietnamese automobile market. Therefore, it is not surprising that manufacturers and dealerships are stepping up their promotional efforts to attract customers.
