February 8, 2025 – Lado Taxi announces its transition to becoming the first traditional taxi company in Vietnam to go all-electric. Currently, the company has completed a 100% transition to electric vehicles in Lam Dong province and aims to do the same in other provinces by the end of 2025.
Lado Taxi’s green journey began in May 2022 with 20 VF e34 vehicles purchased from VinFast, specifically serving passengers traveling from Lien Khuong Airport to various localities.
The main electric car models chosen by Lado for their taxi fleet are the VF e34 and VF 5. These vehicles offer superior quality compared to gasoline cars in the same segment and outperform other service cars in the market.
With the close accompaniment of GSM and strong support from VinFast through the “Viet Nam Spirit – For a Green Future” program, after just over two years, Lado Taxi Lam Dong has successfully replaced its entire gasoline fleet with electric vehicles while expanding its scale across all markets, working towards the goal of owning 2,500 electric taxis by 2026 and becoming one of the largest taxi companies in Vietnam.
The advantages of using electric cars have brought remarkable growth to Lado. Many transport businesses nationwide have emulated Lado’s successful model, contributing to a strong green transformation wave in the transport industry across various provinces.
