On February 13, 2025, VinFast announced that it had delivered over 10,000 electric vehicles of various models in January 2025 in the Vietnamese market. Leading the pack were once again the VinFast VF 3 duo, with more than 4,000 units sold, closely followed by the VF 5, which recorded sales of 3,300 units. The remaining sales were comprised of the VinFast VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models.

Compared to December 2024, sales of the VinFast VF 3 decreased by approximately 54.5%, while the VF 5 saw a 32.6% drop in sales. This is not surprising, considering that January 2025 coincided with the Lunar New Year holiday period.

VinFast shared that with this promising start, 2025 is expected to be a breakthrough year for the company, thanks to the upcoming launches and deliveries of new vehicle models in the coming months. Specifically, in the personal vehicle segment, VinFast plans to introduce a 7-seat MPV to the market. Meanwhile, in the service vehicle category, VinFast will unveil and deliver the Green line, exclusively designed for transportation business purposes. This line includes four models: Minio, Herio, Nerio, and Limo Green.

Among these four service vehicle models, the Herio and Nerio Green are optimized versions of the VF 5 and VF e34, respectively. On the other hand, the Minio and Limo Green are entirely new developments.

“With a clear direction and well-defined product roadmap from the outset, VinFast aims to make a significant leap forward in 2025 to maintain its position as Vietnam’s leading automotive brand and conquer international markets,” said Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Vice President of Global VinFast Sales. “The impressive business results in January have further fueled our motivation and confidence as we strive toward our ambitious goals for this year,” she added.

VinFast ended 2024 on a high note, claiming the top spot in market share in Vietnam with over 87,000 vehicles sold domestically. On a global scale, VinFast is making steady progress, consistently introducing new vehicle lines in the US, Europe, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Middle East, and gradually establishing its presence in these markets.
