According to Carscoops, Ford has recently issued four recall orders, affecting a total of 394,466 Ford and Lincoln vehicles in the US.
Among these, 295,449 diesel-powered Super Duty pickup trucks are included due to the accumulation of bio-diesel residue on the drive rollers, impacting the normal operation of their high-pressure fuel pumps.
Ford identified the affected vehicles as the Super Duty versions of the F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 models from 2020 to 2022, as well as the F-650 and F-750 models from 2021 to 2022. The solution involves updating the software for the powertrain control module, which will be carried out free of charge at authorized dealers.
This recall also includes 47,818 Lincoln Nautilus vehicles from 2024 to 2025 due to an issue with the power windows. The windows may not stop when encountering an obstruction. Ford will address this problem by recalibrating the window modules on both the driver and passenger sides.

Additionally, a total of 30,715 Ford Flex, Ford Fiesta, and Lincoln MKT vehicles from 2019 are experiencing issues with their backup cameras. Instead of displaying the rearview image, these cameras show distorted images or a black screen.
Neither Ford nor the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has provided a solution for this issue yet.
Lastly, this recall affects 20,484 Ford Escape vehicles from 2020 to 2024 and Lincoln Corsair vehicles from 2021 to 2024 due to an issue with the high-voltage battery cells. A manufacturing defect could potentially cause a short circuit, leading to battery failure.
Ford states that a software update for the battery energy control module is necessary. In some cases, the battery packs of the affected Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair vehicles will be replaced free of charge.
Ford will be contacting affected vehicle owners shortly, providing instructions on how to schedule repairs. All rectification work will be carried out free of charge by Ford.
