McLaren GT: A Rare Sighting in Vietnam
Only two McLaren GT supercars have been imported into Vietnam, and their histories are shrouded in mystery. One, a white non-official model, and the other, an official orange car, have both made their way to Hanoi after spending time in Ho Chi Minh City.

The orange McLaren GT is not the only exotic car owned by Hanoi’s elite. Another McLaren GT, originally white, has been spotted with a sleek matte black wrap.
In terms of design, the McLaren GT boasts sharp LED headlights and horizontal LED taillights, similar to other McLaren supercars. The Grand Touring version also features stylish butterfly doors, making entry and exit a fashionable statement.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the McLaren GT is its dual luggage compartments, offering a total storage space of 570 liters. The front compartment provides 150 liters of space, ideal for medium-sized suitcases, bags, and personal items. Meanwhile, the rear cabin offers a generous 420 liters, accommodating both large and small suitcases or even a set of golf clubs.

The interior of the McLaren GT is just as impressive, featuring a large vertically oriented infotainment screen and an aesthetically pleasing gear selector. The white-themed cockpit of the McLaren GT, currently on sale for 10 billion VND, creates a stunning visual effect.
Under the hood, the orange McLaren GT in Hanoi is powered by a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 620 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm.
This powerful engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the McLaren GT to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 326 km/h. Positioned above the 570S but below the 720S, the McLaren GT directly competes with the likes of the Aston Martin DB11, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Bentley Continental GT.
