In early 2021, a McLaren GT supercar was quietly imported to Vietnam. Painted in white, it was later purchased by a social media influencer based in Can Tho. Nearly two years later, the car was resold and made its way to a showroom in Ho Chi Minh City. After changing hands a few times, it eventually found its new owner in Hanoi.
The McLaren GT then returned to the showroom in Ho Chi Minh City, where it awaited its new owner for a few months. A car enthusiast from Hanoi flew to the south to inspect the car and eventually purchased it. The supercar now sports the license plate number 30M and can be spotted cruising the streets of the capital city.
At one point, the McLaren GT traveled as far as Da Nang in search of a buyer, but it eventually made its way back to Ho Chi Minh City. It wasn’t until a buyer from Hanoi flew in to inspect the car that the supercar found its new owner. The car now sports a sleek black exterior.
One of the unique features of this McLaren GT is its spacious luggage compartments. With a total capacity of 570 liters, the car offers a 150-liter front trunk suitable for medium-sized suitcases, bags, and personal items. The rear cabin, on the other hand, boasts a generous 420-liter space that can accommodate large and small suitcases or even a set of golf clubs.
In terms of design, the McLaren GT boasts sharp LED headlights and horizontal LED taillights, similar to other McLaren supercars. The Grand Touring version also features stylish butterfly doors, providing easy access to the vehicle for both the driver and passengers.
The interior of the McLaren GT is just as impressive, featuring a large vertically oriented infotainment screen and a beautifully designed gear shift panel. The supercar’s cockpit is predominantly white, creating a sleek and modern aesthetic.
Powering the McLaren GT is a new 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin-turbochargers, delivering an impressive 620 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm.
Coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, this Grand Tourer accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 326 km/h.
