Toyota recently showcased the electric MPV Innova concept at the 2025 Indonesia International Auto Show (IIMS 2025).

Compared to the concept unveiled in March 2022, the IIMS 2025 version features some notable changes.

The most noticeable change is the redesigned front and rear lights, which now feature sharp-looking LED strips. Being an electric vehicle, the Innova BEV does not have a traditional grille, improving aerodynamics.

The Innova electric vehicle on display at IIMS 2025 is fitted with 16-inch multi-spoke rims, as opposed to the sportier 17-inch wheels seen previously.

Overall, the design of this electric Innova is not drastically different from the combustion engine-powered version sold in several markets, including Vietnam.

In terms of the interior, the Innova BEV concept 2025 features a larger central display than its 2022 counterpart. Other features remain unchanged, including: a hybrid analog-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, LED ambient lighting, rear-seat entertainment screens, two-tone upholstery, electronic shift-by-wire gear selector, etc.

The rear seats are captain-style, with two individual seats and a center armrest, enhancing both comfort and luxury.

The Toyota Innova BEV concept 2025 is powered by an electric motor that produces approximately 180 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

The vehicle is equipped with a 59.3 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. Unlike modern electric vehicles that typically use flat, under-floor battery packs, the Innova BEV utilizes smaller modules integrated into the floor, with a larger module placed in the front engine bay to maximize cabin space. It has two charging ports: Type-2 AC and CCS-2 DC.

Toyota has not yet disclosed the range of the vehicle or the timeline for the commercial release of the Innova BEV.
